Product Description

The Wiredog Working Dog Mesh Saddlebag Harness Vest is a wildly popular service dog vest. It all starts with a top and bottom layer of extremely high-denier, mesh that is known to be one of the strongest crosslink meshes manufactured in the world.

This harness vest boasts exceptional strength along with water resistance. It also happens to be loaded with features:

REFLEX strips down each side and around the entire harness.

Sturdy right-side clip for your ID Badge or tags.

3-Welded D-Rings for the attachment of a lead and other accessory items.

Also included are two of our detachable saddlebags complete with a patch of their own attached with velcro for easy patch swapping during and after training. These bags each measure 4" X 7" X 2" and pack a generous 56 cubic inches of cargo each. That's more than enough room for any medication, a cell phone, treats, waste bags and even a small 12 ounce bottle of water. The bags sit at around a 35 degree angle and keep the weight distributed over the dog's front shoulder area.

Saddlebags are made with genuine YKK brand zippers.

The vest comes with a 2x4 inch patch of your choice, sewn top and center on the vest for easy visibility. Each Saddlebag is outfitted with a Velcro backed patch. That's 3 service dog patches all together.

This service dog vest also features our molded rubberized handle which is lightweight but provides a much better grip than traditional nylon loop handles. It takes up much more of your hand for a fuller, more stable grip.

Additionally, both the girth strap as well as the chest strap is adjustable for the best fit possible.
Sizes are as follows: (girth measurement) 26--30" - 30-34" - 34" - 40" - 40-42"

This vest is available in many different colors to suit your style!

A great new feature we now offer is personalization. You can make your new service dog vest truly one of a kind by having us embroider your dog's name directly onto your new service dog vest. We'll use a contrasting thread color that will look striking. All embroidery is done in a block font by default. Want it in cursive instead? Just select cursive font for embroidery in the options section during checkout. Example of embroidery are shown in the photos above. If you are an organization or training facility, we can go ahead and embroider your name, website or even your logo!

A note about sizing - please make sure to measure your dog's girth, TWICE, for an accurate measurement. To do this, use a SOFT FABRIC measuring tape and measure your dog around the chest just behind the front legs. Make sure your dog is standing up while you are doing this. You can also circle your dog's chest with a leash and then measure the leash where you mark it.

IMPORTANT: It is illegal to label your dog as a Service Dog if you are not disabled. The ADA defines a Service Animal any guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability. If they meet this definition, animals are considered service animals under the ADA regardless of whether they have been licensed or certified by a state or local government. A service animal is not a pet. Vests for Service Dogs is not responsible for those making purchases under false pretenses
